Signs of Infection and Remedy
1. When double clicking a folder icon, it opens another icon. The virus hides all your folders and changing them in "yourfoldername.exe". Application or executable file .exe files. To resolve this,
First, Remove the Autorun.inf in your flashdrive.
Second, close all programs. click start>run>type cmd
Next, type del f:\*.exe /f/s/q/a (don't forget to press enter) (the f stand for the lable of your flashdrive. It may vary depending on your computer.)
At This point, you have removed the autorun and exe files in your flashdrives. But, you still have your folders hidden.
To unhide your files, open your flash drive. on the menu bar, click tools>folder options. click the view tab and find and select show hidden files.
you can now view your files.
