After coming back from Christmas Vacation, I found my laptop's Operating System not functioning. I previously installed Windows Vista Ultimate just to try out the cool features.
I searched for my Microsoft Windows Vista and XP DVDs to install any Windows OS to be able to use my laptop again. Sadly, I lost both DVDs.
I found my Ubuntu 9.04 CD installer. I had no other choice of OS to install but Ubuntu. In less than 30 minutes, I completed the installation of Ubuntu and I started Exploring the System. I do not find it hard to use Linux Ubuntu since my work station in school is also Ubuntu. While Exploring, I found out that most of my movie files could not be played using Ubuntu's Movie Player. I could not also find Limewire Pro which I use in downloading videos and songs.
I opened google and searched for procedures to install the Limewire and VLC. Fortunately, I found useful sites which provided the procedures. VLC and Limewire-INSTALLED!
I think I will stick to Ubuntu from now.
